Workplace Neurodiversity Training

There has been a twenty-fold increase in neurodiverse diagnosis within the past five years.

We believe this is because clinicians are getting better at recognising neurodiversity. Additionally, our culture is becoming more welcoming of diversity and people therefore feel able to share their experiences.

Finally, the COVID 19 lockdown revealed a lot of symptoms that were being masked within the structure of a traditional workplace, potentially leading to this diagnosis spike.

This means that increasing numbers of organisations are proactively seeking external support from Occupational Therapists to ensure they are a neurodivergent friendly company. More than ever, company founders, CEO’s and HR leaders are realising that when neurodiverse individuals receive the right kind of support, the impact they make within a business can be significant and profound.

Purpose People’s workplace neurodiversity training is designed to support your company to understand exactly what neurodiversity is and how to best support neurodiverse members of your team.

This includes:

  • Bespoke training programmes to address specific challenges.
  • The differences between neurodiversity and mental health
  • Creating neurodivergent supportive work environments
  • Utilising the key strengths of neurodiverse team members
  • How to utilise the key strengths found in neurodiversity.
  • Information on government support grants such as access to work
