Sophie Winter
Sophie is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a range of clinical skills spanning mental health, forensic psychiatry, neurodivergence, learning disabilities, neurology, and older adult services. She has worked across the NHS, social care, university education, and independent practice for over 10 years, and has developed a specialism in supporting neurodivergent people with co‑occurring mental health difficulties.
Her passion lies in teaching clients, clinicians, and the general public about the complex relationship between occupation and health. She draws on her knowledge and skills in occupational science, psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy, sensory modulation, and coaching to meet clients where they are and guide them toward where they want to be. Her practice is holistic, trauma‑informed, and neurodivergent‑affirming.
Sophie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
