Occupational Therapy Assistant

Lucy is an Occupational Therapy Assistant having completed her OTA training with Purpose People. Also a qualified nutritionist and former secondary school teacher with a background in sport, education, and youth development. Alongside her work with Purpose People, she supports young elite athletes through her role as a Performance Nutritionist with London Pulse Netball Club, helping them navigate the intersection of nutrition, identity, and performance.

With over five years’ experience working with children and adults alike, Lucy is passionate about helping people overcome challenges so they can live life to the full. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a love of creativity and thinking outside the box – qualities that shaped her teaching career and continue to drive her practice today. A lifelong learner, she is aims to begin postgraduate training in occupational therapy, with a long-term goal of specialising in eating disorder recovery.

In her downtime, Lucy enjoys surfing (badly!), hiking up big hills, spending time with her gorgeous baby nephew, and getting lost in a good book.
