Kathryn Di Virgilio

Registered Occupational Therapist
Kathryn is a registered, experienced Occupational Therapist who has over 10 years experience working in clinical mental health settings. She gained her qualification in Australia and has worked in both the private sector and the NHS. She has worked within inpatient and community mental health services including general mental health, over 65’s, complex care and specialist programmes for OCD, anxiety and depression.
Kathryn is extensively trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and integrates this into her occupational therapy practice. She works with clients to identify what is most important to them, what barriers are preventing them from engaging with what is most important to them and then collaboratively makes plans and sets goals to achieve their desired outcomes.
In addition to working in general mental health Kathryn has a specialist practice in parent mental health, supporting parents to develop confidence, connection and improve their quality of life.
Kathryn is registered with regulatory body the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT).
