Occupational Therapy Assistant

Bethany (Beth) has years of experience working in person-centred roles, spanning from international human rights advocacy to hands-on community engagement and face-to-face support.

With a MSc in Gender and International relations and a background in humanitarian policy and social justice, Beth has developed strong skills in communication, advocacy and social justice. Alongside this, Beth has has developed her portfolio of person-centred roles through leadership roles in hospitality, where she continually built strong relationships, supported teams and individuals with day-to-day problems and oversaw responses to crises’.

Professionally and personally, Beth has always been passionate about helping people reach their full potential and truly believes to do so support is required with everyday activities that help to build independence, wellbeing and the confidence needed to reach your full potential. Her approach combines empathy with practical support, always centred around the needs of the individual and being reflexive of the compounding factors causing struggles – no problem is too big or too small.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys sports particularly team sports and long-distance running, volunteering and engaging with communicates both nationally and internationally.
