Building our partnership with you.

When we begin working together, the first step is to meet with you to discuss your expectations and desired outcome. We will review your current activity priorities across areas including work, leisure, domestic, physical and emotional. Sessions are often activity-based, and we will look to work alongside you. In this way, we can support you in order to build confidence, adjusting and adapting the plan. Together we will look at overcoming your barriers, and setting goals so you can reach your full potential. Through this collaborative way of working, we can also identify aids, services or adaptations that can empower you to bring about positive change in your life where you feel you need it most.

The Initial Occupational Therapy Assessment takes approximately 1.5 hours and we like to have a follow up appointment for an hour to discuss your OT report and treatment.  This can be done in your home or in our comfortable rooms in Mayfair, Marylebone, Chelsea or Twickenham. Following the initial assessment and discussion with you, a treatment plan will be formulated. Depending on your needs you will then be referred to the most appropriately matched Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).

I have had the pleasure of working with Nicky and Jill for some time now and they have been invaluable to clients as key team players providing specialist Occupational Therapy (mostly mental health) and so much more including advice and support with nutrition, employment and vocational skills. Their scope of expertise and flexibility is a rare find in the industry – a phenomenal double act complete with a sense of humour!
